Split, Croatia’s second-largest city where the old world collides with modern life, is another late stay. During your visit, let intuition be your guide as you spend the day meandering through the cobblestone streets.

Leaving Split, you continue to a late-night stay at the UNESCO World Heritage Site: Dubrovnik. A simply outstanding city, with massive stone walls, winding streets, and charming squares dating back to the 7th century.

Spend the next day outdoors soaking in the sun on the island of Hvar—fondly known as “the sunniest place in Europe”. Your voyage concludes with an overnight stay in Venice.

Located at the head of the Adriatic Sea between the mouths of the Piave and Po Rivers, an intricate web of 118 tiny islands and canals make up the enchanting city of Venice in Italy. Considered to be an extremely beautiful and romantic destination, it is not surprising that Venice has played an important role in the history of symphonic and operatic music. One must take a gondola ride along some of the over 150 canals, including the Grand Canal. Be amazed at the numerous bridges – such as the Rialto bridge – and absorb the glorious renaissance architecture with its panorama of superbly detailed facades.

Day 2 Tuesday, October 11, 2022, Opatija, Croatia 8:00 AM 6:00 PM

Opatija - aka Sankt Jakobi, Abbazia - is a tranquil resort in western Croatia, just southwest of Rijeka in the Gulf of Kvarner on the Adriatic coast. Surrounded by beautiful forests of bay laurel, together with its mild climate and stunning setting, it is a popular summer and winter resort. The whole sea-coast to the north and south is rocky and picturesque and contains several smaller winter resorts. The city's most prestigious sights are the Villa Angiolina that was built in 1844, many late 19th-century luxury hotels and villas that have survived to present times, as well as the remains of medieval walls and the town gate.

Zadar is a Croatian city located not far from Sibenik. It is several thousands of years old town and it was the capital of Dalmatia for many centuries. Several layers of city walls with their attractive and impressive entries dating back to the 16th century, Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque monuments, as well as a preserved collection of church silver and gold, all bear witness to the city's tumultuous past. Visit the old town and absorb the atmosphere of its rich history, while viewing the delightful marble streets, the fascinating architecture, and the famous churches, each with a story to tell. a

Day 4 Thursday, October 13, 2022 Split, Croatia 8:00 AM 9:00 PM

Split, in Croatia, is a busy port on the shores of the Mediterranean and has numerous ferries operating to and from nearby islands. It is also a popular tourist resort with beaches and pleasant promenades. Venetian, Gothic and Renaissance houses and several medieval churches add architectural interest. Split is also one of the oldest cities in the area and is traditionally considered to be 1,700 years old.

Day 5 Friday, October 14, 2022, Dubrovnik, Croatia 8:00 AM 10:00 PM

Dubrovnik, a Croatian city on the Adriatic Sea coast, is a prominent tourist destination. The city joined the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in 1979. An outstanding feature of the Old Town of Dubrovnik is its intact city walls that run uninterrupted for 1,940m encircling the city. This complex structure, one of the most beautiful and strongest fort systems in the Mediterranean, consists of a series of forts, bastions, towers and detached forts, originally used to protect the vulnerable city.

Day 6 Saturday, October 15, 2022, Hvar, Croatia 8:00 AM 6:00 PM

Hvar is a Croatian island in the Adriatic Sea located off the Dalmatian coast. The climate is characterised by mild winters and warm summers, and this, together with beautiful beaches and Mediterranean vegetation, make it a most attractive tourist destination. Hvar town features a large public square - St Stephen’s Square - that is open to the sea, and in the season the port is filled with large yachts. The many renaissance and baroque palaces dominate the city that itself is surrounded by fortification walls dating from the 7th century.
